UPGRADE YOUR TURBO – Give Your Turbocharger the Performance Boost It Deserves

Why Choose Upgrade Your Turbo

When it comes to enhancing your vehicle’s forced-induction system, sometimes the smartest move is not buying an entirely new unit, but upgrading what you already own. With our Upgrade Your Turbo service (called Just Upgrade in the product links) at MuchBoost, you send your existing turbocharger to us and we optimise it to deliver higher performance, improved durability and better value — all handled by our expert team.

How the Service Works

Step 1 – Contact Us

Even if your turbocharger model doesn’t explicitly show a “Send-Your-Own” / “Just Upgrade” option,
simply contact us: https://muchboost.com/contact-us/ with your unit’s details and we’ll guide you through the next steps.

Step 2 – Choose Transport Option

You have two shipping alternatives:

  • You handle shipping yourself – you send your turbocharger to our workshop at your own cost.
  • We organise logistics – for a fixed transport fee we arrange pickup and delivery on your behalf:
    • EU countries: €25*
    • Norway: €99*
    • UK: €49*
    • Switzerland: €99*
    • Other countries: custom quotation applies.

*Payment in USD is possible according to the current USD/EUR currency rate.

These rates apply when we manage the transport.

We have no influence over the parcel pick-up time in your country. If you decide to use our shipping arrangement, once you receive the tracking number you will be able to contact the local customer service line to arrange the exact pick-up time.

Step 3 – Prepare & Ship Your Unit

To minimise risk and ensure smooth processing:

  • Remove any actuator or external valves, as these items are vulnerable during transit.
  • Please do not send oil lines, bolts, intake components, etc. Only the turbocharger should be included in the package.
  • Take and save photos of the package (including the visible shipping label) before dispatch.
  • Secure the label by taping around its entire perimeter to minimise the risk of it peeling off during shipping.
  • Use a reliable courier service (e.g. DHL, UPS, FedEx – for non-EU shipments, standard postal services may cause delays or returns).

For the import-side paperwork:
EORI number: PL641243075300000
VAT ID: PL6412430753

Step 4 – Evaluation & Upgrade

Once we receive your turbo, our technicians inspect its condition. Should we find major internal damage (e.g. damaged waste-gate, broken exhaust housing/manifold), we will notify you of any additional costs or extended lead time before proceeding.

Typically, the upgrade takes about 2 weeks. For time-critical builds, we aim for approximately 7 days, subject to parts availability and workshop schedule.

Step 5 – Return Shipment

After completion, we ship the upgraded turbo back to you, ready for installation. For orders placed with the Just Upgrade option, the cost of the return shipment is already included in the price of the service.

What You Gain

  • Cost-effective upgrade – instead of buying a new turbo, you invest in improving the one you already own.
  • State-of-the-art tuning & balancing – we optimise compressor and turbine side, upgrade the bearing system, and ensure tight tolerances and high reliability.
  • Diagnosis of root problems – because we see the actual unit you operated, we can identify what caused any failure or wear and advise further improvements.
  • Potential customs savings – in many countries (including the United States), you may avoid customs fees if the item returns after repair/service. Please check local regulations.

Important Terms & Conditions

  • We are not liable for damages incurred during transport to our facility; such claims must be directed to the courier.
  • For shipments outside the European Union, use express courier services and declare a low customs value (as appropriate for service/repair) to minimise potential customs issues.
  • If, for any reason, the order is ultimately not carried out, we charge 10% of the order value to cover the work already performed (turbocharger verification and evaluation).

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q: Can I send any turbocharger model for upgrading?
A: Yes. Even if the product page doesn’t list the “Just Upgrade” option, just email us and we’ll confirm compatibility and pricing.

Q: What if the unit arrives and you find hidden damage?
A: We will contact you with our findings and a revised quotation before proceeding further.

Q: How will I know what’s changed inside the turbo?
A: Upon completion you’ll receive details of the work carried out (if applicable) and any improvements achieved.

Q: When do I press “buy” and send you the money when choosing the Just Upgrade option?
A: Pressing “buy” and sending us the funds should be done before we receive the turbo, this way we can start working on your unit as soon as it arrives.
