EA113 2.0 TFSI Hybrid Turbo Upgrade Delivers 301 HP and 433 Nm

Volkswagen Auto Group cars are popular all around the world, and the EA113 2.0 TFSI engine is still one of the most interesting platforms for tuning.

This project shows exactly why.

Using a MuchBoost EA113 Hybrid Turbo Upgrade and great tuning work by Celtemp Car Performance, the car produced 301 HP and 433 Nm of torque at 1.5 bar of boost.

That is a strong and usable result from the 2.0 TFSI engine, especially considering that the cooling system remained stock OEM.

The car was also equipped with a full custom 3-inch exhaust and upgraded injectors. These upgrades helped improve exhaust flow and provide the fueling support needed for higher power.

Together with proper software calibration, the setup delivered a clean and strong result. The car gained more power, more torque and a much more exciting driving character.

What makes this result interesting is the balance of the build. The car received serious performance gains, but the setup remained focused and practical. The turbocharger, exhaust, injectors and tuning did the heavy lifting, while the OEM cooling system stayed in place.

Great work by Celtemp Car Performance on this project. If you own a 2.0 TFSI German rocket and want more power, the MuchBoost EA113 hybrid turbo upgrade is a great place to start.
